Ocean Mist Plate

A piece shaped by hand, glazed with soul.

This round ceramic plate was hand-pressed using a mould, giving it its perfectly organic, slightly imperfect form — no two are alike.
The glaze shifts from a misty storm grey at the centre to a deep teal green along the rim, catching the light differently depending on the angle.

✦ What did Tom do?
Tom shaped the unique texture on the outside of this plate with his hands — each mark his own. Then, layer by layer, he applied six coats of glaze with patience and care, building that deep teal shimmer from the inside out.
